Generate a Passphrase

Your device's hardware cryptography generates your account and 12-word passphrase locally — no email or other personal details required, ever.

STEP 2

Add Your Tunnel(s)

Add one or many tunnels for different purposes — banking, gaming, streaming — each isolated from one another for maximum privacy and security.

STEP 3

Pick a Location

Select where each tunnel physically lives — Limburg for your bank, Ashland for your games. Hop locations up to 5 times every month per tunnel.

STEP 4

Secure + Private Browsing

Connect for end-to-end encrypted internet through your own private VPN. No logging. No BS.

Everything a VPN Should Do

Per-Purpose Tunnels

Run separate isolated tunnels — each with its own location, IP address and resources. Your bank never shares a route with your games, one never compromises the other. Or use a single tunnel for all traffic, it's up to you.

Frequently Asked Questions

Most VPN services throw thousands of customers onto the same handful of exit servers. You’re essentially sharing an IP address with everyone else — whether they’re streaming movies, scraping websites, or doing things that get an IP address flagged. If you’ve ever been greeted by endless CAPTCHAs or “unusual traffic detected” messages, you’ve already experienced the downside.

RapidTunnel takes a completely different approach.

Instead of giving you access to a crowded VPN network, every Tunnel is your own private WireGuard VPN server with its own dedicated IP address and allocated resources. Think of it less like renting a seat on a crowded bus and more like having your own vehicle. Because your IP isn’t shared with thousands of strangers, connections are more consistent and you’re far less likely to inherit someone else’s bad reputation.

Need to keep different parts of your online life separate? Create multiple Tunnels. Use one for banking, another for work, another for gaming, and another exclusively for privacy-focused browsing. Each Tunnel is completely isolated, giving you stronger network separation than simply connecting to different VPN locations.

RapidTunnel also goes beyond being “just a VPN.” Each Tunnel can securely run Secure Apps remotely, with all traffic automatically routed through your Tunnel. Tor Browser is available today, with additional Secure Apps coming soon, allowing you to use privacy-focused applications without installing or exposing them on your own device.

Privacy isn’t an afterthought — it’s the foundation of the platform. You don’t need an email address to create an account. We don’t store passwords because there aren’t any; accounts are generated using hardware-backed cryptography, with your private keys never leaving your device. We don’t retain connection logs and Secure Apps are run as an image with non-persistent data. For payments, you have two options: in-app subscriptions through Apple or purchase subscription vouchers using cryptocurrency instead of traditional payment methods on our site directly.

The goal is simple: provide the benefits of running your own private VPN server without requiring you to rent infrastructure, manage software, or become a system administrator, all for around the same price as traditional shared VPN services. You get the privacy and isolation of dedicated infrastructure — we handle everything else.

Think of a Tunnel as your own private VPN server.

Every Tunnel comes with its own dedicated WireGuard VPN, public IP address, location, and reserved resources. Unlike traditional VPN providers, you’re not sharing an exit node with thousands of strangers, so your connection is generally more consistent and your IP is less likely to inherit someone else’s poor reputation.

One Tunnel may be all you ever need, but many people prefer to keep different parts of their online life separate. You might dedicate one Tunnel to banking, another to work, another to gaming, and another to general browsing. Because each Tunnel is completely isolated, activity on one never overlaps with another.

Every Tunnel can also host Secure Apps, which run remotely on that specific Tunnel. To access those apps, you simply connect to that Tunnel’s VPN and launch them from the RapidTunnel app.

Need a fresh start? Every subscription includes up to three Tunnel Recycles per billing cycle. Recycling securely wipes the existing Tunnel, provisions a brand-new one, and assigns it a new IP address. You can even choose a different location when you recycle if you’d like to move your Tunnel closer to home — or farther away.

You certainly don’t need more than one Tunnel — but once you start separating different parts of your online life, it’s hard to go back.

Most VPN providers treat your connection as one big bucket. Everything — banking, work, gaming, social media, streaming, shopping, and browsing — shares the same VPN connection and IP address which ultimately means they share the same online identity.

RapidTunnel lets you split those activities across completely independent Tunnels.

For example, you might dedicate one Tunnel exclusively to banking and financial services, another to work, another to gaming, and another to general browsing. Each Tunnel has its own dedicated IP address, VPN configuration, and Secure Apps, creating clear separation between different activities instead of blending everything together.

This approach has several advantages. It helps reduce unnecessary overlap between services, lets you maintain different locations or configurations for different use cases, and gives you the flexibility to recycle or replace a single Tunnel without affecting the rest of your setup. In the rare case that one of your Tunnels is compromised, it would only affect the services used through that single tunnel.

Of course, if you only need one Tunnel, that’s perfectly fine too. Each Tunnel is pre-allocated for your use only and is engineered with plenty of resource headroom, meaning you won’t experience service degradation during peak times due to oversubscription — something that’s pretty common with shared VPN providers. RapidTunnel is designed to work just as well for someone who wants a single private VPN as it does for someone who prefers dedicated Tunnels for different parts of their digital life.

Secure Apps let you run privacy-focused applications on your Tunnel instead of on your device.

Instead of installing and managing sensitive software locally, RapidTunnel securely provisions the application inside your private Tunnel and lets you access it directly through the RapidTunnel app. Your traffic never leaves the Tunnel unprotected, and no additional apps, browsers, or remote desktop software are required.

Tor Browser is currently available and is configured for maximum privacy by default, including JavaScript disabled, Tor Bridges enabled, and all traffic routed through your dedicated VPN Tunnel. Additional Secure Apps are already planned, including a private AI assistant powered by a local LLM, collaborative notes, cryptocurrency tools, and more.

Getting started is simple:

  1. Connect to your Tunnel.
  2. Open My Apps.
  3. Enable the app you want.
  4. Once provisioning finishes, tap Open.

For privacy, Secure Apps use non-persistent storage. Restarting either the app or the Tunnel securely erases its data and restores a clean environment while leaving your VPN configuration intact. If you want to keep anything, be sure to save it somewhere else before restarting.

No.

RapidTunnel doesn’t require your email address, phone number, real name, or any other personal information to create an account.

So then how do we identify and authenticate you? Rather than using traditional usernames and passwords (both of which are considered highly identifiable and sensitive data), your account is generated directly on your device using hardware-backed cryptography (Secure Enclave) in addition to optional on-device entropy using randomness derived from static data captured with your camera. You’re then given a 12-word recovery phrase, based on the widely adopted BIP39 standard, which becomes the only way to recover your account.

Your private key never leaves your device and does not require any data from our end to generate. RapidTunnel only receives the corresponding public key, which is used for account authentication whenever you sign in. Your private key and recovery phrase are never transmitted to or stored by RapidTunnel. When you log out of the app, all data is wiped and no configuration data or logs are retained/transmitted from the previous session.

Keep in mind this added layer of security/privacy also means there’s no “Forgot Password?” button. If you lose your recovery phrase, there’s no email address to reset and no hidden backup copy for us to recover. Store it somewhere safe, keep it offline, and never share it with anyone — we recommend writing it down on paper rather than storing it on a digital device, which can be compromised.

No. RapidTunnel does not log your browsing history, DNS requests or any other identifiable usage logs.

The optional Network Activity view inside the app exists only for your benefit while you’re actively using it. Connection information is collected only while the view is open and the app is running, allowing you to monitor live network activity or export what you captured for your own analysis. Once the app is closed, RapidTunnel does not continue recording that activity, and it is not stored on our servers.

Even features such as device management to manage device registration were carefully developed to maintain their intended functionality while omitting the need to retain and use identifiable data such as your original IP address. Unlike the vast majority of VPN providers, we truly mean private when we say private. When it comes to your personal data, trust no one.

We do retain the minimum technical information required to operate the service, such as your public key, subscription status, and the operational state of your Tunnels. This allows us to authenticate your device and manage your infrastructure without knowing who you are or what you’re doing online.

Because RapidTunnel is built around public-key cryptography for authentication, we never transmit your private key or your 12-word recovery phrase the way your password is transmitted for authentication on a traditional platform. Our platform was inherently built to retain no personal or identifiable data in the first place, which is a stronger privacy model than collecting data and purging it later.

You have two ways to subscribe.

The simplest way is using in-app subscriptions through the Apple App Store. Using this method ensures that you don’t have a lapse in your subscription. Once a Tunnel expires, it automatically gets wiped and nothing can be recovered including the IP address. You can have up to 20 active subscriptions under a single Apple ID, whether on a single RapidTunnel account or spread across multiple.

Alternatively, you can purchase a voucher code with cryptocurrency on our website and redeem it inside the app — we support various tokens including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, XRP, and Monero. For users who prioritize payment privacy, we generally recommend using Monero. Note that due to the inherent limitations of how voucher codes must be purchased and applied manually, you are responsible for renewing your subscription every month before the expiration date. Monthly vouchers add +30 days to your Tunnel subscription, starting at the time the voucher was redeemed. If you have time left over in your subscription, the voucher will be applied in addition to the days you have left over.

Regardless of which you decide to use, your RapidTunnel account is completely independent of your payment method. Even while using Apple’s in-app subscriptions, RapidTunnel still doesn’t require your email address or other personal information to create an account.

It’s important to note that payments processed through Apple or any other payment provider are subject to the provider’s own privacy policies and data-retention practices, which are outside of RapidTunnel’s control. Please visit our Privacy Policy page for further details.

Sometimes, yes.

No VPN service can guarantee that a website won’t recognize or classify a connection as coming from a VPN. Every website uses its own detection methods, which may include IP reputation, behavioral analysis, browser fingerprinting, cookies, account history, and many other signals.

Where RapidTunnel differs is that your Tunnel has its own dedicated IP address instead of sharing one with thousands of other VPN users. Shared VPN exit nodes are tagged quickly by risk assessment providers and almost always develop poor reputations over time simply because so many unrelated people use them. This can lead to more CAPTCHAs, verification prompts, or even outright blocked access on some websites and services. To better understand the implications of using a shared VPN, imagine this scenario: you run an online store at which over 50+ users are accessing your site and purchasing items using the same IP address within the past month, all with different shipping addresses. In addition to this, you received a charge-back from an order using this same IP recently. If you’ve ever noticed more CAPTCHAs whenever using a shared VPN, a scenario like this is usually the culprit.

Because IP addresses are assigned per-tunnel, you start with a clean reputation that doesn’t get affected by the activity of other RapidTunnel customers. Over time, many websites also begin recognizing your Tunnel as a consistent location, much like they would a home internet connection.

That doesn’t make your VPN undetectable, and it doesn’t prevent websites from identifying you through other means such as account logins, browser fingerprinting, or cookies. What it does provide is a more predictable, private, and trustworthy connection than the heavily shared infrastructure used by most traditional VPN providers.
